Each fall, ABC chapters have several governance decisions to make, such as nominations for new board members and officers, determining the coming year’s strategy, and developing an annual budget. This session will provide you with tips on recruiting new board members, how to make sure board members are aware of their responsibilities, how to attract members to committees and other activities to increase member engagement in the leadership of the chapter. These actions will help your chapter build a resource for future leaders, understand considerations for budget development, and other items you should consider in keeping your chapter’s governance running smoothly.
